This Easter, we’ve been really chuffed to help out those wonderful people at The Honeypot Children’s Charity by giving them chocolate! (Well, who wouldn’t appreciate that?!)
The Honeypot operates across most of England, offering respite breaks and outreach support to both young carers and vulnerable children, aged between 5 and 12 years. Locally to us, Honeypot House in the New Forest offers weekend breaks – or longer stays during the school holidays – for children to get away from their responsibilities at home and simply enjoy themselves.
The Honeypot prides itself on ensuring that every child they support always receives a birthday card and Christmas present. This year, Honeypot Hampshire wanted to give those children an Easter egg too. That meant they had to find one thousand chocolate eggs – and, of course, that’s where SmartyPantz was pleased to help.
We were really happy to donate 20 eggs to help towards their target, knowing that it would help bring smiles to some young faces. (And, if they are anything like us, we expect those eggs have been well and truly scoffed already!!).
If you’d like to help The Honeypot out, there are lots of ways you can get involved – from running an obstacle course to buying a ticket to their London Comedy night. Visit the events listing on their website to find out more.
